Yesterday we celebrated Hayden's 9th Birthday! Who can believe I have a 9 year old!! Hayden decided he wanted to spend his day with Nan & Poppy - of course - so we went to Childers on Sunday and the boys & Maddi went motorbike riding for the afternoon. Monday we opened presents and then the boys headed out riding again so Hayd could try out his brand new motorbike boots! He was very spoilt and aswell as the boots he got a new bike shirt and gloves, set top box for his tv, books, tech deck, a new helmet and some money. Today we went shoppin gand he bought himself a Madd gear pro scooter and is now out riding it!
Andrew is flying to Brisbane tonight for a few days for work. He was a bit annoyed that they are going to be in Brisbane but couldn't get tickets to the State of Origin tomorrow night! He will just have to go to the pub instead.
I have a busy week this week. I have organised an Aust Biggest Morning Tea at school tomorrow and it is the kids sports day on Friday. The gymnastics winter fair is on Sunday and we are helping with it and Maddi is doing 2 gymnastics displays during the day. Andrew is doing a karate display too. Hayden is off camping with Poppy, Uncle Scott, Jackson & Cooper for the weekend.
I have entered a scrapbooking competition that runs for nine weeks and today completed my first entry. I will post it below along with a photo of Hayden in all his bike gear yesterday!
